PRE & POST NATAL FITNESS

During and after pregnancy the female body undergoes a whole host of physical changes. Hormone levels alter, joint integrity is compromised, blood pressure changes, some muscle groups may be forced into a separated position and all of these need to be considered when training.

Each trimester presents different challenges and this is reflected in the tailored programme I can offer you.

After pregnancy there are similar alterations that need to be addressed to bring your body back to it pre pregnancy form.

With so much change happening physically both pre and post birth it has never been so important to look after your body. A combination of training techniques are combined to achieve a balanced and healthy body. This includes resistance work for maintaining muscle strength, cardiovascular work to maintain healthy heart and lungs and Pilates based movements to encourage continued mobility and flexibility.

 

Regain energy, feel revitalised and rejuvenated during pregnancy or as a new mum with my pre and post natal training.
